For years, I’ve dreamt of what college life could bring and while some things changed, there was always one constant.

It didn’t matter how wild I allowed my imagination to run, it always led me to the same place in the end.

      It led me to him.

My future was clear, and he was it.

      Until suddenly … he wasn’t.

Now I’m a shell of who I was, on a path too blurry to follow, and I see no way out.

      No way up.

They say first loves last forever.

That’s exactly what I’m afraid of

      1. Shubhangi

The book was in a good condition, the print was good and it was not at all damaged. Looked like a first copy.

      2. Pallavi Nautiyal

WOW…. I literally have no words for this. It was such an epic emotional roller coaster ride, but with a good feeling. I loved Noah the most…. and I loved Ari. Their characters and personality resonated so much with my own. I just Loved their LOVE.Apart from Niah and Ari, the person I loved the most was Mason, I wish I had a twin like him. And Brady and Cam were such good friends of Ari….. What I didn’t like was CHASE….at all.. you can see for yourself (or read)…… I wished it never ended.

      3. Kriti

i can’t even say how i am feeling right now but its like i was going through the emotions that noah and ari went through.

      4. S mukherjee

      6. Noopur

I cried and cried and cried… Noah is just perfect.. the emotions that this book makes you feel is just something else

      7. PRITI SINGH

I didn’t like the story . So confusing . All the time they are partying only. the story felt like being dragged.

      8. Caro

A seriously long long book. With almost all the tropes you can think of – brothers best friend, second chance, short term Amnesia, and a lot more but spelling them out would be a spoiler so I won’t.I seriously enjoyed this one and a 100% would recommend this !Cannot wait for the next book as the author confirmed!!!

Spoiler Free but best to go into this book blind for all the feelsSpice Level: 🌶️🌶️/5This book is currently gaining popularity on Bookstagram, particularly due to its availability at @theworksstores for just £3—a bargain buy. However, this book is the third installment in a series, a fact you can’t find online or within the book itself. So, understanding the background information about the side characters became a challenge and quite frustrating. The confusion had me putting the book down more than it should to try and find the series I was so sure it was a part of. Yet each time I tried to Google it, nothing relevant came up. I actually found out the series in a fb book group.Say You Swear could have easily stood on its own as a standalone novel, as the side characters had minimal impact on the main plot so it could have cleared up a lot of confusion if they weren’t added. The book itself had a slow start, but the reactions to the book I saw on TikTok made me stick with it, and I’m sure glad I did. It’s been such a long time since a romance book hit me right in the feels, and I bawled. It’s best to go in blind with no prior knowledge of the book to truly experience the emotions while reading it. Noah gives off golden retriever energy, and I absolutely love that about him. The close friend group provides a sense of found family, and I genuinely wished I was a part of it!I rated it four stars purely because of the emotions and vibes I experienced during the book. However, there are a lot of plot holes, and the book didn’t need certain additional plot elements (no spoilers here!) and probably didn’t need to be as long as it is. It could have been shorter yet equally impactful.Say You Swear has:🏈 Found Family🏈 Brother’s Best Friend🏈 Second Chance🏈 College Sports RomanceThe entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited for you kindle girlies, but it’s hard finding the entire series.

Say You Swear — gut wrenchingly beautifulThis starts off nice and sweet with 5 friends who grew up together and are now heading off to college. The mfc Arianne, and her over protective older twin brother Mason, Brady, Cameron (a girl), and the newest member because he joined their group later, Chase. This book covers the dymamic between the twins and with Ari coming into her own. Some Spoilers:It basically starts with the kids spending the summer at the families beach house. Because of what happens to her and her life long crush with one of their friends, Chase, college doesnt start off that well for Ari. She’s hurt, even though she wanted it to happen. Its not what she did that hurt her, but how the friend she thought she loved responded to it, telling her it was a mistake, and withdrawing from her.Ari is heart broken, she hides herself away missing important life events her and her bestie Cam had planned years before. The guys are all football players and are really good. Its not the main focus of the book, but it is a dynamic in their lives thats always been there. There’s heartache, and hurt, and then there is love that is found, and when you least expect it, tradegy happens again to the mfc, this one being a major life event.Ari, had found love with Noah during the school year. He’s the college football teams quarterback. He’s really good and is looking forward to becoming a professional football player. He’s selfless, humble, a mentor to those around him. He lifts up his team members and makes them better players. But when Ari is hurt, she loses her memory of him, and the entire semester they spent together. The author writes so well you feel the pain as if you were experiencing it as your own.And just as your were hoping for some good news, Noahs second tragedy happens and my heart breaks for him. He was so broken, from what happened to Ari that when his mother passes he’s barely holding on.His mother was all he had, Ari can’t remember him, and it’s killing him.Ari is frustrated with her memory loss and it doesnt help that her old crush Chase steps back into the picture taking off from her last memory of them being together while ever one else is giving her the time and space she needs to figure it out on her own.Just as I’m about to lose all hope for Noah… the author throws in a bread crumb, and I follow it and keep reading. You won’t be disappointed. Its a slow build, but eventually she gets her memory back and it ends as it should. Be prepared with some kleenex.I love love love this book. It had the right amount of drama without drawing it out, while keeping the storyline moving forward. This is my first time reading this author. And I 100% recommend this book.
