This is by far one of my most favorite reads of this year and from all of the books I’ve ever read. I can’t really pinpoint the parts I loved cause there are so so so many. I loved Summer but I’d sell my soul to have an aiden in my life. Also I really really loved the side characters and there was a smile on my face the whole time I was reading this book. I’m so glad I picked it up. The whole development of summer’s relationship with her father is portrayed very amazingly and I can’t wait to read the whole series. The best compliment I give to a book is that it made my heart giddy. This book made my heart giddy and I won’t be surprised if I reread it in a few days. Also I really really love the cover🤍

Loved the MMC he was perfect but FMC really sucked the life out of the book she had issues but takes it out on others and has 0 respect for others. I wish she got hit by a train in the book or something

Eagerly awaiting for the next to happen“Collide” by Bal Khabra is an exhilarating rollercoaster ride through the world of college sports and psychology, where two polar opposites find themselves on a collision course that transcends the boundaries of love, rivalry, and self-discovery.The story revolves around Summer Preston, a driven and focused young woman with a dream of becoming a sports psychologist. However, she despises the very sport that dominates her college life – hockey. Her fate takes an unexpected turn when her professor assigns her the daunting task of researching Aiden Crawford, the cocky and carefree captain of the college hockey team. It’s a match made in literary heaven, as their worlds collide in a captivating and electrifying way.Aiden Crawford, a quintessential bad boy with a devil-may-care attitude, suddenly finds himself forced to participate in Summer’s research project. He is bewildered and annoyed by the prospect of being scrutinized by someone who, in his eyes, represents everything he’s not. But as the saying goes, opposites attract, and “Collide” takes us on a thrilling journey as these two characters come together in a clash of personalities and desires.Bal Khabra expertly weaves a narrative that not only delves into the complexities of love but also captures the essence of self-discovery. The characters are beautifully crafted with their flaws and strengths, making them relatable and engaging. Summer’s meticulous and planned life clashes brilliantly with Aiden’s impulsive and laid-back nature, creating a chemistry that sparks like fireworks. As Summer and Aiden embark on this whirlwind journey, the reader is treated to a story that is as heartwarming as it is funny, as passionate as it is heartwrenching. “Collide” is a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, eagerly awaiting for the next to happen.

❤️❤️❤️🌟 4.75/5‼️ While this could be read as a standalone, this is book 1 of the new Off the Ice series.ℙ𝕆𝕍: first person, dual perspectives𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕪:An ultimatum from her professor thrusts Summer Preston into an unexpected collision with hockey captain Aiden Crawford. She’s caught in a delicate balance between fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a sport psychologist and veering far away from this god-awful sport. For Aiden Crawford, being the captain of the college hockey team has its perks, except when a reckless mistake by his team threatens to jeopardize their entire season. Consequently, his coach nominates him as the subject of a research paper. It’s the last thing he wants to do, especially since the girl leading the project looks like she could wield his skates as a weapon.Summer can’t stand his blasé approach to life, and Aiden doesn’t understand her uptight, scheduled one. They are off to a rocky start, and provoking each other is what they do best, but defeat isn’t something either of them is willing to accept.𝕄𝕪 𝕋𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤:This book really helped me get out of a book slump. Everything I read felt like boring and made me want to tear my hair out. When I started this one, I hoped for reprieve, and it totally was! Aiden and Summer’s story, like most hockey books, had some popular tropes, but it had an originality to it. I loved everything about it!Aiden was the sweetest. If I was in Summer’s shoes, I’d fall in love with him a LOT quicker than she did!😍Summer knew what she wanted in life and didn’t pull any punches. That girl went after everything she wanted! If you want any indication what that girl is like, just read the quote in my picture!👀🥵The spice will not disappoint either! The past few days, I was reminded by friends in a buddy read group that I like my books on the SPICY side! Reading books with little to no spice won’t fly for me, so rest assured that this one hits the mark! This one’s for you, Erin!🤣🥵🌶

light hearted easy read.🌟- 5 / 🌶- 3Dual POV & HEA🇷🇪🇻🇮🇪🇼Someone please point me in the direction of where I can get my own Aiden Crawford.Aiden is a star of the hockey team and Summer is a hockey hating sports psychology student. When a party gone wild and a research project pairs these two together, it’s inevitable that the sparks will start to fly.Summer had every right to have a grudge against hockey players after her relationship with her dad and his career. Aiden did his best to get to know her and fell for who she was not who her dad was. I always love the he falls first trope, especially when he falls for more than just her looks. I love how assertive and dedicated Summer is to her goals and always stands up for herself and what she needs. The MCs are such a great pairing and the chemistry is off the charts from their very first scene together. Some of my favorite happenings in the book were:Summer winning Aiden’s truck in their betThe guys crashing Summer’s dateThe spy outfitsThe side characters in Collide were just as fantastic as the MCs. From Aidens himbo hockey playing housemates to Summers’ quippy twin sisters, I can’t wait to hopefully read some of their stories in the future!I loved everything about this book. It was such a well written, light, fun read with the MCs having insanely good chemistry. Reading a book where all the characters were not just blonde hair and blue eyed was refreshing and much needed in the hockey romance genre. I first found out about Collide on instagram and had been counting down until it was released. The wait was so worth it.—–🇹🇷🇴🇵🇪🇸✸ enemies to lovers✸ he falls first✸ college hockey✸ multi-racial characters

head over hockey stick for these twoWow! I’m soo happy I happily stumbled across this book on my kindle a few days ago. I’m an absolute sucker for a hockey romance and I have read a LOT of them but this one had something special. Summer and Aidan are a match made in heaven. I related to Summer’s character so much I thought their banter was utterly hilarious and so fun. It gave what was a light read, a fiery little edge. I will be recommending this book to everyone I can as I truly adored everything about it. I would like to find my own Crawford now please wherever he may be?! Ha. I will definitely be looking into more of Bal’s work as I truly loved her writing. Amazing book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hockey romance. Need I say more?this is was a steamy, yet wholesome read. The mcs were extremely loveable and you root for them the entire way through. This book is definitely more centered around the hockey team and the MCs than the fmcs life. What i mean by that is that a lot of times in these types of stand alone series you get all this back story and reoccurring characters come up all throughout the book, but this one kind of just gives an intro to people and then brings up the hockey team more than summers friends. i thought it was extremely well done. most times we get too much of the other characters and it takes away from the mcs storyline.thank you author for not giving us the dumb breakup trope. i hate when they break up in the last 50 pages over something dumb just to get together 5 pages later: Its a waste of time.
