   Ahhh, Chloe Liese has done it yet again. Woven a beautiful, achingly tender and heart melting romance that holds your hand and reminds you of how safe, comforting and reassuring love can be. How it can let you breathe, soothe your soul, help you feel more like yourself and feel liberated. Christopher and Kate make you theirs in absolutely no time. They pull you into their world and envelope you with the earnest love and deep care their hearts hold for each other. I don’t have enough words to express just how deeply their story made me feel! I’m just sitting here with a soul so full that it could explode. 🥺❤️The way they love each other honestly made me cry, swoon, smile, giggle and feel all warm and fuzzy. I was sitting there with the goofiest grin on my face and stars in my eyes as these two endearing soulmates fell for each other. Their journey of understanding, trusting and loving each other is beyond beautiful! It makes your heart bubble with joy, feel fuzzy with warmth and teary with overwhelming happiness. I just felt so held, seen and understood! As a young adult with ADHD – Kate’s vulnerabilities, her strengths, her creativity, her executive functioning, her struggles and her passion, curiosity and openness to love – made me feel supported and heard beyond measure. And as someone who experiences migraines very often – just like Christopher (though a little less frequently than him) – his struggles with it made me feel less alone and understood instantly. They both made me feel like I’m not wrong for being the way I am. It acknowledged my way of being in such a profound way that I can never thank Chloe enough for how sensitively, earnestly and thoughtfully she always captures neurodivergent lives, human emotions, less talked about life experiences which shape us profoundly and chronic health conditions. And makes them feel worthy of love and joy and the best of everything this world has to offer. Both Kate and Christopher are SO DEEPLY LOVEABLE and gosh, witnessing them fall in love with each other was precious beyond words. Their chemistry was soft and simmering with tension at the same time. I love how they radiated comfort for each other! All their moments together have been imprinted in my memory. I know I’m going to go back to them on both – hard and happy days and revel in the tenderness, soothing affection and empathy they capture. The way they saw each other was everything. To be loved for exactly who you are with all of your vulnerabilities and imperfections and bruises – is such a gift. And Kate and Christopher embody that for each other. Theirs is a story I’ll carry in my heart forever and always hold close. It was the most gentle hug. 🥺❤️I have SOOO many favourite moments that it is impossible to pick one! Their soulful conversations, those comforting hugs which cradle your very heart, all the moments wherein they showed up for each other, wherein they cared for each other so genuinely, understood and truly saw each other like no one else had, held each other’s vulnerabilities and truths with softness, wherein they respected and protected each other so fiercely, when they went the extra mile for each other, took the time to build and value one another’s trust, made each other feel seen in all ways with their thoughtful gestures and patience and most importantly, the way they embodied home for each other. “Better Hate Than Never” is that big, soft hug which wraps it’s arms around you and makes you feel like you’re floating and have been anchored – all at once. Which brings deep, deep comfort to your heart. Which holds all of you, loves all of you and wants all of you. Which makes you feel like you aren’t alone. Which makes you feel safe to your very soul. Please give their story a try, I promise, you won’t be disappointed at all! Complete with cozy fall vibes, an ADORABLE catto, beautiful sisterhood, heart melting friendships, bromance (AHH, MY CHRISTOPHER AND JAMIE HEART IS SO HAPPY AND FULL 😩❤️), genuine and comforting family love and bonds, the swooniest, most beautifully meaningful moments EVER, an eco friendly paintball experience, stay overs, a cooking session so crackling with tension, soft love and tenderness that you won’t be able to stop smiling, hugs wherein you melt in the other person’s arms, authentic, beautiful intimacy which is steamy and sensitive in equal parts, zodiac signs, hilarious banter, text message threads which will have you giggling and blushing, home parties and warm get togethers, donuts, Italian pasta, hair being a main character of their own (I swear you’ll know and absolutely LOVE what I’m talking about upon reading the book), the most endearing pet names and lots of moments that will have you kicking your feet, covering your smile because it’s SO big and making your eyes glow the brightest – it’s the perfect read for all lovers of romance. ❤️❤️

   A fun Taming of the Shrew reimagining.What happens when you combine two of my favourite things. Chloe Liese books and Taming of the Shrew reimaginings? A *very* happy Amanda.We first meet the willowy sisters in Two Wrongs Make a Right- a much ado about nothing reimagining ( did I mention I love Shakespeare reimagined😂) Jamie and Bea (and all the family) make appearances aplenty in the story but this is Kate and Christopher’s time to shine. The small but I read in book one was enough to intrigue me and it was soooo worth the wait.After a career affecting injury brings Kate home, family drama from book one keeps her there. It doesn’t take long for her to bump into here enemy Christopher and what follows is a a tense sharp enemies to loves plot, so believable and honestly very moving. They are both equally hateful to eachother, and this “banter” makes the story so entertaining, but so romantic at the same time, as you see each penny drop.    4⭐️I kept thinking “oh here comes the third act breakup” but it never came!!!! How adult of them. It was so awesome to see so much of Bea and Jamie too. I can definitely relate to Christopher and his migraines. It totally takes you out. Otherwise I felt like while it was a slowburn, once it was burning it went too fast. She went from being mad at him to all of a sudden living with him.

   another wonderful love storyChloe Liese just goes from strength to strength with her heartfelt romances featuring relatable character arcs, swoony sweetness, and just the right amount of spice. The way they went from snapping at each other to falling for each other was so cute. This is the first time I’ve read a female lead with ADHD and I think the representation was spot on. Also great chronic migraine rep for the main male character.

   as if anyone could not want you4 ⭐️ 3 🌶️ A cute little romance between childhood friends and their resistance to form closer bonds to each other. I love that the author included realistic health issues in her story, as it expands the story. Christopher and Katerina, although having incompatible zodiac signs, make for a great pairing as they put in the work to understand each other.Thank you to Chloe Liese for this free copy of Better Hate than Never.
